mary - that's what I was trying to say - that most of us sit and watch the happenings of this world as if it is all one big soap opera. so how do we fix that attitude?

Ca88andra,

This poem poses a question for me: could we be any further in denial or detached from real life, except "as seen in tv". ? Watching soldiers roll through the streets of Seattle during the World Trade Center demonstrations was very surreal.  This ain't no disco, this ain't no foolin' around!
