The ones that did the burning
were the guiltiest of them all. Who are we to judge others? It may be true that we are all guilty of sin, but doesn't burning another human at the cross make the initial sinner look that much less evil. I am thankful that we don't have those types of punishments around anymore. The difference between now and then is 500 years and a more civilized society.
