I think I am very capable of killing someone,
and the ability to rationalize things would work both ways. For instance, if an armed intruder was sneaking towards my children's bedrooms, and I had the ability to stab him in the back, I most likely would. However, if my business partner stole money from our company and dissappeared, I would most likely file charges and a lawsuit, but not harm him in fear of incarceration and being taken from my children. The law is not what would make one killing more rational than the other, it would be the fear of being seperated from my children. Just my thoughts, interesting question.
