Bush's repetiton became tedious
I think he went in cocky being the incumbent but lost it after 30 minutes. I think for Kerry he needed this because the public across the nation finally got to see him and hear his views.

I really only watched the debates for an hour, but I made the exact same observations - Kerry has a great poker face and Bush looked like a schmuck. The best was when he was given the opportunity to respond and he blinked about thirty times, paused, then answered. It was pretty funny.
And yes, Bush repeated himself CONSTANTLY. It got old after a while. He kept attacking one thing while Kerry attacked many things.
In Bush's defense though, no, he's not a great speaker, so I guess it's a little unfair of me to be making fun of him in that respect. But then again, it was pretty unfair to send soldiers over to Iraq for a war we never needed to start.
