Very brave, very candid
I know that it must be difficult to write about these problems and it's good that you are using writing therapeutically to help you get through. It always strikes me as interesting that some of the best writers have had obstacles to overcome and things that make them stand out. Hemingway committed suicide, presumably because he was depressed, and he was one of the most historically read writers of recorded history. I think that writers are a tormented people as a whole and I am glad to have you as company.

Offer to assist
Hey there,
Just reading your few words i can sense your depression and feelings of wanting to give up. Hang in there okay? i know this because i have really good intuition for one, but mostly because i have OCD myself. i have unfortunately OCD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Gen. Anxiety Disorder, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, and i'm startng to think my antidepressents have given me bipolar. ive been hospitalized about 5 times. i have learned a ton about how to manage OCD and other anxiety disorders. i'm not sure what your experience is or how long you've had it, what you've done to fix it, but i would be interested in hearing. id love to help you out with anything, share ideas and therapy strategies, or just be someone you can come talk/chat with. If you dont feel comfortable writing personal stuff on here, feel free to email me. And check out my blogs, they are all revolving around my OCD and crazy illnesses. i too am seeking this medium as a way to get it all out of my system. good luck to you and anything you need please let me know.

I could use some of your OCD to help me to quit smoking, I think.
If I could be more adamant, forceful, and unchangeable in my resolve to leave cigarettes out of my life for good and all, it would be helpful, I imagine. Just as I imagine that I could use a bit of anorexia in my thinking, as I try to lose weight.
I think writing is good, for whatever reason we dream up to get ourselves to do it.... Write......Write.....Write.....etc......etc......etc...........
