Witchflower,
I've heard of this book before and when I run across a copy, I'll pick it up. I think it makes a lot of sense, to categorize people according to the level of stimulus we can tolerate (I know I'm easily overwhelmed by noise and light), and by other factors. It could be a huge boost in self-awareness and awareness of others.

Agreeing with both of you.
For me, reading it was a mini-revelation. I thought everyone was like me (which I now know is fairly HS). I just didn't understand how those totally non-HS people could do the things they do. So it's given me a lot of insight and reverse tolerance. Thanks for reading and commenting! I hope it's helpful.

I need to read this book
I think the other comment I saw is probably very accurate; we are all more HS than we know or care to admit. I don't think I am HS, but I can sure use the information in the book to get a better insight on the HS people in my life. I don't deal with HS people very well. I think it would help me a lot. Thanks for the tip.
