Ok - I have to tell you this since you brought it up. I was doing laundry yesterday (I only stepped away from the computer for a few moments - never fear) and I had scooped everything from the drier or so I thought. I peeked in to discover one of my little ones most adorable socks, with tiny yellow trim, trying to escape by sneaking out of the dryer through a seam in the back. I snatched it up pronto and it is a good thing I did because when I was folding the load I came across it again laying right on its mate. They both seem content and at ease, wonderlust cured, to be placed together in the drawer. Other socks in this house hold have not been so lucky and have been missing for years.
