Makes me wonder what I put in my space.. Thanks for the compliment
on my post, I was a little aggrivated at the time.  People are always so quick to jump up and point when their ideas or life is put on the spot, but for 1 finger you point there are 3 more back atcha.  You write wonderfully..

I Just Came Up With A Doosy...

...but first, _God: A Biography_  by Jack Miles.  Scholarly but it gets the wheels turning about what the bible is, was and should always be.

I wrote this one in answer to a question about where, "humility," might be in a belief that we co-create the universe with God as our First Cause.

God ain't big.

God ain't small.

God and all good things

Got no size at all.

Short, pithy and too the point.

Thanks for stopping by.  I just stumbled on Jemmie.  It doesn't matter how.  Why is up to those who are tired of paying for what has always been free for the asking: attention.

Don't PAY attention.  Just be attentive.  It's cheaper and gets better mileage.

Hey INCUBUS?

My beat phase has held on. I have collected a lot of Burrough's and Kerouacs books. Henry Miller before them. Vonnegut, Buk, Harlan Ellison. And more. Nelson Algren. Trout fishing in America Shorty.   Arthur Clarke. Robert Heinlein. Different sensibilities but still libertarian in outlook.  And Twain before all of them.

I have a great library built up. I hope my kids don't split it up if I should go.

It is not made up of expensive volumes but it is the library that has survived several winnowings, to be what it now represents. It is an excellent representation of the literary influences that have made me.

I have also built up a large collection of books exploring the nature and meanings of spirituality.

A wine library.

A cookbook library.

Popular and other sciences.

I think I would miss libraries before I would miss the internet. Close.

Animals are aware and they do have feelings. For the most part they are more advanced than us…they accept what ever is thrown at them, and they do the best they can with that. They will even take a beating, try to run away and hide, and when they think it is safe they will return with an open spirit…offering love. I can only dream of what life will be like when the intelligence of humans…reaches their level…

And yes…the space between things…is just as important…as the things between the spaces.

I hope you go out knowing. . .
The "Buk" is supercool. During my Beat period I read them all, including the script to Barfly.

Thanks poetkitty.

I feel like I'm a bit stalled on this journey. Like a hitch-hiker in a dry spell, between rides.

Hey I like Bukowski too.

Beautiful

I have learned similar life-lessons from my furry friends.

And like you, I intend to document every last flittering moment - until the bitter end.  And maybe beyond.

I love your writing.  I'm along for your ride.
