you're tethering
yeah, from that childrens book. if you look back to a time in the past and compare it to the present it will seem that things have gone fast because you're skipping everything in between. try thinking of as many things that you have done between whatever time you're thinking back to, particularly your state of mind and and your habits, and it will seem like ages have past. for me every six months is an epic.

garsh

i can't help you.

i can just speak looking back at the 30 years I'm ahead of you.

one day at a time

i don't do it but i think it's the best philsophy to fill up each day to the fullest.

I'll have to take my own advice.

I feel your pain
Where in the hell does the time go, and why does it go by so much faster as we get older?  There is no WAY I'm realy 35.  I refuse to believe it. I am still a kid trying to figure out what I'm going to be when I grow up!  You are definitely not alone.

Kooka, It goes by way too fast!
Like yourself, I stepped out of high school and not long after that I celebrated my 30th! Worse still, in what seems like only a few months after that, 40 came rolling in. Our ages are increasing at an increasing rate!
