Little Story
Somewhere, quite a while ago, I read about a woman who saved almost everything.  She kept everything boxed and neatly labled.  After she died and relatives were going through her things, they found a box marked "Pieces of string too small to use."  I sometimes think of that and ponder . . .

Thanks for reading, both of you!
That's a yes to the plastic containers, too.  And scraps of paper.  Junk mail was an incoming notepad to my grandmother.  Using these methods, my grandparents amassed a tidy little sum that they left to my father when they died.  I'm afraid I'm more of a user than a saver for someone else.  Is this the selfish generation?

My mother always laughed at...
the "new" recyclers.  It used to crack her up when somebody would suggest something that her generation already did without even thinking about it.  Rags at our house were also used to curl my sisters long hair into fabulous ringlets.
