I had an ex-boyfriend who was obsessed with Tia Carrera. I hated her for

it.  Last year I saw her on tv and thought, "Wow, she's hot!"  Glad he's gone, now I don't have to hate her.

I am not fixated on Tia Carrera.

Not a stalker waiting to happen. And I am certainly not a celebrity hound. But when I look at her I feel I am watching some perfect form of womanhood. I have no idea who she is as a person, and maybe I don't need to know.  Adrienne Clarkson fulfills one of those femenine ideals that I refer to. I have no quarrel with John Raulston Saul. I wouldn't mind meeting him either. But I think we men have to be honest about where our energies and inspirations spring from. I always thought of my drive as 'gentle lust'. A gentleman. When counted upon to be one.

As a fellow man

I, too, become transfixed by certain women. Base as it is, I doubt I’ll ever give up my fondness for the female figure. Especially those females who can communicate in a unique way. Those are the ones that blow me away.
