Reasons for war
For the past 14 years our Defense Strategy Policy has been underwritten by Cheney, Rove, Rumsfeld, and Colin Powell (minimally). It was, basically, to police the earth with our lean, mean armies and force democracy on countries in our national interest, namely oil rich countries. Honest to God. Harper's did an expose on it months before we went into Iraq. It is documented. But...some people like the idea of American imperialism, even if it means the recruitment of more terrorists to attack us.

There is Much...
...wisdom in the classic crime-solver rule - Follow the Money.
In the case of Bush and Cheney, it doesn't exactly take a Sherlock Holmes or a Maigret, does it, does it?? Even Inspector Clueseau would have it nailed!!
