The picture shown me

included the drawing of a fish, which was a symbol for "Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior".  Your explanation does not disagree with mine.

The bread and wine don't have fish....
because they are related, not to Jesus's last meal with his disciples before His Ascension, but to the matzah and wine that were shared as the final part of the Last Supper --- a Passover Feast. At the part of the feast where our Lord took the cup and the bread, the Pesach meal has already been eaten--all of the roasted lamb and the charoset and the bitter herbs dipped in salt water. The matzah that He broke and shared was the Afikomen, often seen as a symbol of Christ, the hidden One, the Messiah, who would, through His brokenness, make men whole.
