Terminal uniqueness
Unfortunately that describes most addicts I've none and it doesn't sit well with those who think they need to fit in a box in order to be in "recovery." You are a saint to do what You do. Bless You. M

equally unequal?
the way society is (constructed) addicts etc will be marginalized...till some major shift in the entire body of thought happens...put it down to the survival of the fittest idealogues i guess...to get an addict back requires (IMHO) an amount of personalized loving attention that we are not geared to handle - emotionally, financially, spiritually. an absolute determination. then again u wonder whether that u r doing the right thing? how much can you give, when do YOU end and they begin? and always that sneaky suspcision/guilt i could have done a little bit extra...
i believe we are all equal in potential - where addicts fail is more their inability to overcome the enviromental harzards (personal, social, cultural etc) we all face - where everyone is ready to jump on the bandwagon and curse them for failing to grab a handle on personal responsibility to a standard which is the current social norm...
