I agree 100%

Those insanely heavy bags.  If a person who bags groceries every day, all day long, can barely lift the bag into the cart, why do they think I will be able to lift it out of the car and into the house?  For a while before a couple of surgeries, I walked with a cane and could not stand up straight.  Groceries were the biggest ordeal.  And when the bag splits!  yippee.

I wish I had kept our kids' coaster wagon to haul the stuff to the door.  Thankfully, I am now able to stand up straight, walk unaided, and trudge to the side door with the groceries.

Don't cha just love it?
I always ask for a seperate bag for my bread too. Otherwise it comes out with funny little shapes by the time you get home. What amazes me is when they man handle your groceries and just throw them into the bags like they are playing baseball or something. Or they throw the flea powder in with the mac & cheese. My personal best bitch though is when they put 50 cans into a single bag and then don't expect it to break on you in route to your vehicle. Have you ever chased canned goods before? They are fast little suckers!
