Powerful, insightful writing, Padre.
It's no wonder you're my favorite in this particular section. I agree that the issues are not as cut and dried as some writers here seem to feel. The clericalism of the laity is not easily discerned by most, although, in my particular situation, it has definitely caused the most problems for me within my own church. An exceptional piece, here, and one that I will share with others "off BlogIt".
