Thanks for the warm welcome
And I loved your e-Bay blog. I am about to start selling some stuff on it ... 'bout time ... been a member for about four years now.

I know how that feels...

My money is always going out the door, but you know what they say, ya gotta spend money to make money. At any rate, you can always use that shiny new puter for counterfeiting as long as you overlook the legal issues.

Me, too, Witty Woman
I was addicted for a while.  Now it's just something I look at every day or so.  I do keep up my Favorites lists for a few items I'm really looking for.

I started using Ebay about a couple of months before Christmas last year.  I practically lived on it.  I kept seeing things that were so cheap and going "Ooh, look at that" and I ended-up getting most of the kids' presents off it.  I did get quite a few bargains, the only trouble was I bought so many bargains I ended-up spending more than I would have spent if I'd gone to normal shops.

There is no guarantee

It's easy
Go to papermart.com and find vari-fold mailers to fit the size of the books. It's the inside measurement you're after. But some clear tape, 2 mil thick and then go
to Endicia.com for your postage account to print on your printer with NO fancy labels that cost almost nothing

I sell on EBAY fairly regularly

You might also want to download EBAY'S TURBO LISTER for listing templates and such. It's easy

But most importantly is;

1. The description of the item AND THE WRITE UP and where you list it

2. How do people pay you, what do you accept ?
Pay Pal will get you way more bidders than without Pay Pal

3. Postage shipping costs: Depending on the book, 1st class and Priority and then the slowest; Media Mail but possibly the worst damage may come to the book this way

That might be it

What are the guarantees for Ebay?
I've looked at stuff, but been to nervous about selling anything.  I have tons of old books that were one time reads.  But shipping would be a real hassle for me...and how does that work?
