I was not talking about physical attractiveness. Good grief!

Dems talks more about hate than anybody I've
ever encountered.  What about Clinton?  He gave us a 237 billion dollar surplus that dopey dubya turned into a 326 billion dollar deficit with the blink of an eye.

Rumsfeld has been pinpointed as the point at which
the abuse of that prison started.  The blame descends from him on down.  The guards were specifically instructed to use dogs to intimidate those prisoners because muslims consider dogs dirty animals.  This was a sytstematic form of abuse.  Nobody has knocked on my door because I am a law-abiding citizen.  That is the very least I can expect from a free country.  If the government  denies anybody civil rights and due process of law, all her citizens are compromised.

Scoop and Dems right on...

though, this post is true to a point also.  The Democrats don't have anyone to really hang on to.  One thing I might say to Scoop's comment.  That female soldier wasn't acting on anyone's orders when she celebrated her 21st birthday by posing for most of the pictures and such we've seen, and spent the evening with prisoners naked against the walls so she could examine their penis size and make comments.  I'm all about the soldiers responsible paying a price for what they did.  I still haven't seen proof positive that there were too many higher-ups to blame, certainly nobody gave specific orders to abuse prisoners for information.  Punish anyone responsible no matter who they are, but we've got to stop blaming everyone on the ladder when one rung gets broken...

Write On!  ltlmac70 wuz here...

Boy I thought I would never see this day but I agree with DEMS

none of my civil liberties have been taken from me. As far as the prison abuse goes you can't blame Bush anymore that you can blame that 21 year old young private female, she had higher ups calling the ball on that. The problem there was you had people pulling prison duty who had no training. Not really Bush's fault, this is a military blunder.

And attractive, Kerry is ugly, Clinton was a sleeze and Bush with his big ears looks like a 38 Plymouth coupe with both doors open. We don't need good looking, we need an ass kicker, we need Bush to be the way he was when he went into Afghanistan after 9/11. That I will always agree with.

Tell us all...
Exactly what civil liberties you have lost and how has it effected you personally. Can you? Have the feds come into your house or anything like that, ever? Doubtful.

Attractive? Democrats thought Clinton was attractive and look what a disaster he was. Democrats are the ugly hate party now and don't have a clue about reality or what's going on in the world outside of their selfish arrogant attitudes that project the exact opposite of everything they say. It's very obvious too!

I am waiting for the day when
we know -- really know -- that it is up to us, not some glamorous "leader."
