A priest on a skateboard?
Hmmm.  That's interesting.  Maybe parishioners are more tolerant about priestly eccentricities than we are.

Friar - Why not a priest playing in the rain? I always loved it...

when the priest in our parish rode his skateboard down the slanting playground from the church to the school with his robes flapping about his ankles.

Ay grandmammina
I used to play in the rain even as a strapping young man.  Now I can't do that; our parishioners won't like to see one of their priests cavorting in the pouring rain.

Frair, when it began to rain yesterday, such a rare thing in this desert,

I put on my puddle jumping shoes and took a long walk in the rain. Such wet joy, such happiness! I could see the trees breathing better, watched their greens change before my eyes and felt everything smile just like me. I was joyous.

You hide from the rains and I embrace them. If I had as much rain as you do, I would probably hide, too, but I remember playing outside in it for the first year that I lived in Brazil, fascinated with the abundance of water around me, amazed.....having arrived there from the Arizona desert.

My  work area could use some gym equipment, as I never exercise anymore. Except for yesterday's rain walk.
