Learning to defend yourself and your loved ones--that's something
that King Lear forgot how to do....Although I don't advocate the Pope raising an army to fight off today's bad press....  I'm glad we live in a less violent age and that we have law and order in most Western places.  Inner cities are another matter altogether....

I'll never forget the first time that I saw it on The Big Screen.
I was sitting in the front row of the theater.  When the best, last fight came, I was sitting on my legs and on my coat on the chair.  All of a sudden my legs flew out from under me and my coat flew up into the air with the light behind it.  I was so inspired to kick that bad guy!  I took Karate after that.  One time after class I was walking home at night, down the middle of a little side street and I felt like cars could bounce off me.  Needless to say, I've calmed down a bit after those days....
