I once opened a book up on Angels. It was written by a well known evangelist. The introduction started out, "I've never seen an Angel, but..." That was enough for me. Why spend my time reading someone who has no more experience with Angels, or less, than I have? I was reading to be informed or share in someone elses experience. I can read the scriptures and speculate on my own. I realize there are more reasons to read blogs than to be informed. There is an opportunity to share and interact in a way that was not available to me when I picked up that book. But to relate to some of the writers here(depending on the subject), you would have to try to educate or re-educate them on basics, with them struggling and insisting they know all about it already. Now if you have been in the presence of Angels, you would not be in the mood to try to tear down and rebuild all of the misguided notions of some egotistical show-off out to make a name for himself. You would simply move on, right? That's the way I deal with some of the writers here. I'm in no mood to go around and around, trying to prove there is such a thing as sunshine, to someone who refuses to leave his cave.

Things of Interest

I am new here but from what I've seen and read, I haven't yet seen one person getting all the comments or the reads. I see people mostly flitting around. I'm a flitter. I like to jump around and visit everyone. I can honestly say that I have only one person I love to read and that's 'food4thought.' But I love humor so that's what I gravitate towards.

Me? I plan on writing on a bunch of different subjects. I find this is a great place to air my thoughts, both good and bad. Stirring the pot can be interesting.

If I find a particular blogger writes posts that don't interest me time and time again, I usually stop clicking on their blogs.  It's not being mean in any way, it's just why would I waste my time on something that I've been bored with time and time again?  I usually give people quite a few chances to hook me before making that decision, though.

hi
i'm new here, west end, but what i think is that if we're writing something that interests the people here, they'll read it...also, friends do tend to read friends, that's just life, so i guess part of it is writing posts of interest to people and the other part is making friends! good luck!
