just to visit the Vatican museum will take you weeks to really appreciate that vast amount of cultural wealth. Italy is a great piece of art. I used to enjoy going to Naples during the summer just to revisit some of the sights. And Sicily -- ah! those ancient Roman ruins...!

Friar, my brother recently returned from Rome and other places in Italy and
made me watch his entire video of all of the churches and all of the art work. Amazing.....though I've seen books and films on the subject, it was more fun knowing that it was my brother and his wife who were making the movie this time.
Italia, to renew studies and friendships and spirituality, maybe? Wonderful. Will you try again? Do you feel more fulfilled and useful in the Filipinas or in Italy? May your prayers guide you.
I'm jealous of the idea of studying in Italy for 6 years, what fun! I would have just stood around staring open mouthed inside every Italian chapel, church, cathedral, etc., examining details of the art work there.
