- Go to How Much Water Should I Drink?
You're right L.E. Gant
People should use common sense on their water intake and listen to their body for continuous hydration.

Went to the link and...
I'd DROWN if I drank that much water! That's if the kidneys managed to not give up with the volume.
One should vary one's intake of liquid depending on one's life style and what one is doing TO one's body.
If you are on a strict regimen to lose (or gain) weight, you need MORE water than you would normally drink - I can't remember the reference, and can't be bothered looking it up, but the suggestion was that you should increase liquid consumption by something between 1/4 and 1/3 of normal in such conditions.
In maintenance mode (ie normal), up to 1/4 of your liquid should come from your foods (raw greens tend to be 90% and more water, so if you are supposed to drink 2 litres per day, 2 glasses should be in your food, even though it looks solid.

You're Preaching...
...to the converted here! Though I reckon 1.5 - 2 litres a day is about right for most people. It's VERY difficult to drink too much, and VERY easy to drink too little!
Welcome to Blogit, Sir!
