Distilled water sounds like a good move - well water is iffie at best

This is good information.
Because we have a well and our property is within a close proximity of farms, I buy distilled water in 5 gallon jugs and have a water cooler. I am afraid my children might get Lukemia if they are exposed to too much well water. I realize this is an extreme fear, but at one time farms used pesticides that cause cancer. It scares me to think how saturated the ground can be with polutants from 20,30 or even 40 years ago. Great post!

You obviuosly have seen RachelAnna the benefits of drinking water first hand.

We drink only purified water
as my husband has kidney problems and forms stones regularly.  When we started drinking purified water his stones went from 12 a year to just 2 or 3...

Good point - You;
You're right EccentricShock.  I'm not going to say the brand name I know, but some bottled water is tap water.  If you read the bottle label and it indicates any kind of filtering being done, where do you think the water comes from?

You have the Right idea using a Water Filter
Quirkyalone, that's exactly what I'm talking about.  Reverse Osmosis is still way better than bottled, straight tap water or gravity filters.

I had heard that before,
I imagine it's esp. true with generic brands. You get what you pay for, or...in the case of bottled "pure" water...not! I only drink the reverse osmosis water (refilled into special nonplastic containers) from Whole Foods. It has 90-98% contaminents removed. Guess that's probably not as good as purified, but better than other water.

I know what you mean about being irked.  Imagine buying a thing of nature called water.  They already started selling air at gas stations for tire too.  What's next?  Don't say it  - LOL

Good point!
I have heard you could legally sell tap water.  I have rarely bought bottled water, it just irks  me.  Water is a great way to help lose weight (with proper diet and exercise)
