I'll probably be doing more reading than reporting on this one...
from here on out, except to continue asking for the positive thoughts of everyone with a spare moment. You seem to have the "In" in this case, so I'll let you blog the updates solo. In case you haven't looked, though, the track site has an update on the homepage about Shiri's condition. Sounds like she's been moving her arms, legs, and head...and even opened one eye for her dad yesterday. I hope Nathan is able to hang tough, so he can offer comfort to his friend. This is so awful for anyone close to her, I've been in both pairs of shoes, the injured person and the one at the bedside too, neither position is easy to fill. As for McKenzie, she will get over her feelings of guilt, I'm sure. I think it's probably pretty normal to feel as she does right now, under the circumstances I'd feel just about the same guilt I imagine she's struggling with. I just have the benefit of age and wisdom to help me come to terms with it easier. She has a good family, and everyone at the track will be supportive too, I would expect. Another great write up, and tell Nathan to please accept and pass along my family's well-wishes and all that...
