Truth is . . .
defined as a transcedent fundamental or spiritual reality. Given that, I believe that goodness or love (they are the same to me) fits the bill. I'm hard pressed to find an argument against either not being a transcendent fundamental or spiritual reality.

Truth
I think that spiritually all religions converge at some point and find universality in core beliefs.  But experience is always relative.  When faced with the same data or facts, people come up with different interpretations.

If God came back today, how many sets of rules would he have? Or, for nonbelievers, if Nature suddenly got a voice, how sets of rules would it give to explain how things work? There is Only One…Truth.

So then which version of God is the true one? Which set of religious beliefs is the real truth? By your logic still there are hundreds of truths out there. And in the end they are all just as true as the idea that there is no God. The truth you are talking about is different for every single person. Even two people of the same faith, going to the same church and being taught the same thing will end up with different ideas as to what the truth is. Why? Because that kind of truth is a very personal thing and will never be agreed on by all. It is the height of arrogance to say that your truth is the one and only truth just because you have faith that it is. Unless you have absolute, 100% proof that you beliefs are the real truth, you can not make that claim unless you wish to openly insult every other person in the world.

Well, shoot!
Here I thought I was doing a wonderful job of spewing my understanding of Truth(God) all over my blog. I guess I will have to keep trying.

There are two types of truth. The type you can prove via science/math:
gravity, law of thermodynamics, cold/hot, laws of physics, etc.  Then there are truths that are spiritual.  Those truths can only be spiritually discerned.  There are no proofs, only evidences here.  Hence faith comes in.  Those of non-faith will not accept these truths. Period.  Those of faith, believe because of experience and well, faith.  Truth is truth whether people see it or not.  The world was round before anyone could prove it was.  God exists in the same way that the world is round, but people of non-faith don't accept that. Hence all the stupid arguments around here.
