Hmmm.
My mother worries her funeral will not be well-attended. "No one will be there." I always point out that we, her family, will, but that is apparently not enough. She has decided on a memorial service.

You reminded me of a movie
I believe the title of the film was
The Verdict - Paul Newman plays a lawyer who starts out the film by soliciting business at wakes and funerals (your basic ambulance chaser).
