- Go to Is There a Place Called Hell?
Ariala
I guess it is real for one who believes that Hell is that place where one goes upon judgement. I don't think there will be a judgement, I think there is only forgiveness. But I wondered if Hell was a place for souls who did not forgive or who did not love. But as I mentioned in my post, I don't think that is the case either.

I agree with you that Hell is being alone. I've been there. But I don't see each day as one closer to death, but rather one closer to really finding out the truth.

See, even Mark attests to it. Nothing like a personal testimony to bring it
all home.

Well, I have to disagree with all of you. The Bible is clear that hell is
real, but the way people understand it is rather twisted. Here's an excellent study on Hell:

Hell
is being all by yourself and alone and lonely, and crying with no one to to talk to and no one that cares to hear.

Don't believe in hell!
I believe we are all going to the same place. No judgements, no hell, no pergatory, etc...

hmmmmmmmm
my mom said she believes in heaven but not in hell because she felt hell was right here on earth.
there is no "place", just as there is no place called heaven -- that's my take on the matter.
it's all a state of mind.
we can suffer and that's hell.
we can receive hell from others -- - but it's what we make of it that matters.
the fire is described by Paul as a purging fire anyway -- the unfit things are burned away leaving the things fit for construction of a "temple", which is us.
too much pre-Christian mythology is on their minds.
