Moondawg - thanks for reading and enjoying my poem. As for the sports heroes - I'm not disagreeing with you. I dont condone that type of behaviour. I was pointing out that as sports people are visible and some have made it big from lowly backgrounds, they are an obvious choice of hero for our children. I do hope my sons become sporting heroes if that is what they want to be and I hope their behaviour mirrors their upbringing.

Very nice poem
and I'm so glad that you had a wonderful day. I was trying to say that there is nothing heroic about playing a sport for millions of dollars. Most of the sports figures no longer deserve nor earn our respect or adoration. Would you want your child to grow up like some of these people. Using drugs, raping and generally behaving like a bunch of bad adolesences instead of grown men? I'm willing to agree to just disagree on this topic however.

Lol, I'm glad that you are having
a great morning. Like Mr. pig said, why should we all suffer? Your poem is actually very nice. Will you share those eggs and bacon?

And here I am, at work, on a gloomy, rainy day. Haven't had a chance to sleep in the past 2 or 3 weeks.
But it's good to know that someone out there is having a good morning. We shouldn't all be miserable at the same time! :-)

Geez, you morning people suck!
I wake up such a grouch. If I took a nice warm bath right now I would surely pass out!
