Terror Alert Bogus (Again)...

...A former State Department Counterterrorism expert has called this administration's recent "orange" alert, "irresponsible," citing the fact that all of the information used to trigger the alert was old information and there was no evidence that any of the information was actionable.  Meaning, of course, that some terrorists, "thought about," blowing up buildings in these areas.  When, I don't know, and it could well have been prior to 9/11 given this administration's penchant for creating a climate of chaos and fear in order to serve its own political ends.

I've, "thought about," winning the lottery, too, but that doesn't mean it's worth buying a ticket when the odds are, at least, 23 million to one.

DAE manages to crack me up again
I find it hilarious that EVIL (as in DEMSare) is accusing somebody else of paranoia, since he wrote the book on it (even his nickname is paranoid).  Don't worry, I'll be out there with you when the emergency comes, doing what I can for democracy (but nonviolently).

Man, I Thought...
...some of my thoughts and ideas were extreme!

This thought has lurked at the back of my mind for some time now, unspoken and unloved.

But al-Qaeda are a very handy enemy to have, don't you think? Perhaps a little too handy. No policies. No bases. A spooky, elusive leader with massive private wealth who the US haven't been able to track down in nearly four years.

And the fact we have this elusive 'enemy' means we can launch wars to secure oil supplies, curtail freedoms in the US and UK, breach human rights accords, test new weapons, sell more weapons, and funnel enormous amounts of taxpayers money into private companies like Halleburton, that have well known, deep connections within the White House.

It all does seem a little neat, does it not?

Hitting You Close to Home, DAE?

I'm not as mentally unstable as you would like to believe.

If I were, I could wave a magic wand, swallow some prozac, and make all this nonsense go away.

The Bush Administration is far closer to your classic understanding of evil than anyone who has ever occupied the Whitehouse, bar none.

What do you think people who have access to all the power of the world and none of the accountability do all day long, moron?  Do you think they give a rat's patoot about you or your family?  Your country?  Hell, no!  They seize and hold onto to power through whatever means.

If one of those means is to operate outside the margins of the dominant social paradigm, then that will be done.  It's just too easy to discredit your opponents when you have control over the media, access to truckloads of wealth, and the use of the best trained military people in the world.

Grow up, Ostrich.

Incredible...
how extremely paranoid you are Paul. Are the wires from telephone poles affecting you? How about the Micowave and Cell phone towers? Classic case of Schizophrenia. I hope you're on some meds, if not please seek help, this is serious.
