There's at least one serious problem with EVIL'S comment (actually, his entire comment is brainless, but I'll concentrate on one issue). If the Democrats were in the White House right now instead of the neocons, there wouldn't BE an Iraq occupation to argue about, and the economy would be in much, much better shape, because it wouldn't be suffering from the gazillions burned up in the two wars the Bushies have waged, and from the welfare to the rich and the corporate in the form of huge tax cuts and tax breaks. You're right on the mark, westwend. These cons refuse to recognize reality, because it might force them to come over to the (sane) liberal side.
