Good Post. Another thing that has contributed to this is the corruption of public offices and the prevalence of non-sense media issues. I saw a commercial last night on tv and it had this little girl filling a glass up w/ muddy water, then it flashed over to overly happy CEOs lighting cigars and stuff, then it had this screen that said:
WITH CORRUPTION
EVERYONE SUFFERS.
And everyone falls.
