At least no one could say you've led a dull existence!
I too have been through a lot, and I consider survivor's to be an interesting group of people, if I do say so myself! Take care.

Hi Melodystar, welcome to Blogit. Unbelievable stories. My ex used to say something like "Whatever does not kill you will make you tougher." You can be proud of yourself. I will find more time to read your writing. Thanks.

You have been thru enough for several lifetimes. Just believe that it's making you stronger. You already know you are a survivor. Based on your experiences, I'd say that it is evident enough!

Wow Melodystar, that's awful!
I think there must be a point in a near death situation where survival mode kicks in, and the adrenaline starts interfering with emotions. Sometimes I imagine this causes shock, but I think most of the time, it allows people to giggle at a silly song like the earth moves under my feet while in the back of their mind, supressed, they wonder how they will get through. Just my thoughts, take care!

An amazing story,
How do people go on after experiences like these? I can only imagine what it must be like to have these memories visit you again and again. But I commend you for finding the will to carry on and share your story with others.

That is amazing MelodyStar
Your inner strength and will have been tested supreme and you passed with flying colors. Now another test, another great challenge...There must be meaning in all this, perhaps God has chosen you for something special and meaningful; though I'm sure it is hard to understand and see the light around the dark bend. Keep your faith and incredible spirit.

I swear when I was reading this -
the earth moved. For survivors, earth is hell and heaven comes later. For those force others to have to choose survival, earth is heaven and hell is eternal.
