But isn't that insider trading? It's still against the law. They said on the news that if she would have admitted it in the beginning she would have gotten off lighter. However, she lied. So that is what she is getting punished for. I was more jabbing her for her comments comparing herself to Nelson Mandela.

I don't think she should go to jail
Probation and a hefty fine will suffice. There are too many people crowding the jails and prisons. It is not the answer to everything. Jail does not reform everybody. She received an inside tip about her money, and she listened. I would have done the same.
