Sorry if I was a bit flip, below. Anyway, I've slowed down on reading the conservative blogs. After only two weeks here, I'm already getting tired of them -- too predictable, too repetitive, and too poorly informed. But if you still want to set up a blog to discuss their blogs, I say go for it. I'm still not sure if it's really cricket to try and cut off their readership, but if you want to hold up their posts to ridicule or whatever, I think that would be interesting, and I would check in and take a look.

westwend,
I've been distracted lately by a maddening situation with my neighbor, so I apologize if I haven't done my bit for the liberal cause here.  But as far as the con blogs go, sometimes I read them and comment, and sometimes I can't be motivated to even bother because I can't even get past the ridiculous titles.  These people just don't live in the same reality I do, and it's clear that most of them never will.  As for the $$ issue, none of us is getting rich here, including the (nonpolitical) biggies like Ariala, so I'm not sure it's worth the trouble to challenge them.

Didn't Al Franken try that?  I think it lasted, uh...one episode. Whoops.

Ha ha. I know what you mean. I keep on clicking on the conservative blogs. Not sure why. Like slowing down to see an accident or something. Can't seem to help myself. Seriously, though, while I'd love to have a liberal talkfest about the stuff the conservatives post, I think in all fairness if we do that, the conservative bloggers should at least get a linkback pointing to their blogs. It doesn't bother me that they get hits and ranking and dollars (what dollars?) -- what bothers me is when they use twisty logic and selective quoting and write things that are outright untrue. Makes me start itching to do some fact-checking.

This is either brilliant or some kind of commie subterfuge.  I pretty much got lost somewhere around the near turn.
