Don't Get Me Wrong...

...I really enjoy a good verbal sparring match now and then, but this ignorant pablum barely passes for ad hominem argumentation.

Alan Dershowitz is on that list of 501+ academicians.  He's an opinion-maker with contacts all over the media and with Washington power brokers.  That he can get another 500+ professors to agree with him on anything is a small miracle.  Be on the lookout for three wise men and a virgin, but you'll most likely not find them around these parts.

It's one thing to over-think an issue and watch someone descend into analysis-paralysis, never following up anything with definitive action.  It is quite another to take the same road as the rulers of the Pol Pot regime and set the wheels in motion for a bloody purge of ALL intellectuals simply because they have the capacity to oppose the government through well-reasoned and thoughtful argument.

This Rush Limbaugh screamfest-til-they-walk-away demogoguery has got to stop.  Someone needs to put a sock in the beaks of these stupid chickens running around proclaiming that Colonel Sanders is the greatest leader of ALL time.  It's a total sham, a lie and completely ignores the relevant matters of fact.

In a word these right-wing Christian banana Republicans have been driven insane by their own fear.

But Jesus is coming....so LOOK busy, my little fryers-to-be.

Weel, shoot, you're right. The .0000016% juggernaut of the population behind this are lawyers that stayed in academia.

Now THAT's a pretty darned good representative cross-section of the population!

Funny comment...
...but wholly misleading, and you know it. Wake up. A distinguished law professor is a distinguished law professor, period. That statistic means something important, buddy. Wake up.

Over 450 law professors?!? Holy crap, that's nearly .0000016% of the US population! And not just any .0000016%; we're talking lawyers!

THIS is impressive!
