Looking at some bloggers is like going to a Zoo; you can read the sign and know what the creature you are staring at is SUPPOSED to be, yet sometimes the behavior of the caged creature defies understanding. Why is it that you and your ilk take a simple suggestion -- one which obviously will appeal to some but not others as all ideas are wont to do -- and turn it into some personal little war? Why are you such a petty human being?
You mock yourself and become a shining example of what I am talking about in my Blog -- which is, in effect, exactly what you call for it to be -- Blogging what I want to Blog and not what others (such as you) try to pressure me into Blogging simply because they wrongheadedly take offense at something I expressed.
Gilbert O'Sullivan wrote a song called "I'm a Writer not a Fighter." Apparently he never tried Blogging where one needs to come armed with boxing gloves just to state their opinion.

Do You Really Read Garrie's Stuff?
I only ask, because you link to Garrie's profile time and again, yet you keep calling Garrie "him." Go look at Garrie's list of Blogs. One clearly states "GARRIE KEYMAN IS NOT A MAN."
Otherwise, you are right on about writing for yourself. A lesson I have had to learn the hard way.
