Great post!

Terrorist threat growing daily in U.S.; cells expanded and finishing up plans for another major attack here, (operational stage now, according to the White House very recently) yet "the war In Iraq is keeping us safe and protected, because the terrorists will go to Iraq to fight us and by George, (God) we showed them our resolve and power" Huh??...Talk about double talk...

I hate hypocrisy. If I believed in sin, hypocrisy would be numero uno.
He and Rummie used to be good buddies.  He even gave Mr. H. the gas to poison his own people.  How hypocritical is that?  And how much don't they want him to take the stand and talk about their hypocrisies?  I could go on, but why?  It's so obvious to anyone with two brain cells (which excludes the cons).

hypocrisy?
the list goes on and on, it reaches far back into history... a well known phrase explains that "history repeats itself", but why do people refuse to believe that this is happening right now, before our very noses?  It's a shame, it's sad, and, worst of all, it's ultimately consequential, but there we go... nice post.

Among turf wars and other thieves, the West knowingly created nations
in the Mid-East, after World War II, that could not stand on their own.  The West carved up Kurdish territories so that they were left without a homeland and would provide the West with legitimate instabilities in the Mid-East.  The West also decided that it was OK for the Palestinians to pay for Hitler's Holocaust.  So, with these unresolved issues, WWII is still playing out.... So much for the Golden Rule, people.

hmm? Hypocrisy?
Hi westwend. Up here in Canada our political system is so screwed that our politicians just out and out lie. They promise not to tear up labor contracts. Then they do. They promise to do specific things like repeal unpopular taxes aqnd the weasel out. Sometimes they are hypocritical in more abstract ways. We had a case of one of our citizens who underwent months of torture at the hands of the Saudi's to try to get him to confess to doing bombings as part some bootleg turf war. This was before they were willing to let the world know that they themselves were being targeted by the very terrorists their wahabist clerics and money had unleashed upon the rest of the world. One of our politicians here, a man I might have respected went to a huge party hosted by the Saudi's while our citizen was being tortured and complimented them on their hospitality. Never saying a word about our compatriot. I found out later that the Saudi's keep a rein on people in politics by making it known that there is money and positions available after politics for people who play the game the 'right' way. I believe they are referred to as 'sinecures'. Our man is out and has been recovering but our system of diplomacy really let him down. The world of politics and diplomacy are disgusting to me the way they are played now.   They are pretty much all sleazy and self-serving in my estimation. We are saddled with them. We endure them.   Take care freind.
