Taffy - this post just broke my heart - for two reasons. One reason is that you expressed yourself so vividly how could I not be affected?? The other reason is that your experience was similar to my experience with three beloved cats over my lifetime. The most recent we had for 9 years. He fought hard to fight the cancer, but it wrecked him. He lost his fight last August and it is SO hard. We tried many things to keep him longer, but ultimately nothing worked. He was a beautiful part of our family and my husband and I miss him terribly.
