Are you still looking for help with this?
After I read your post, I ran across this article through WritersMarket.com: "How Much Should I Charge?" but then I couldn't remember who it was that was looking for this information! I think you should be able to get to this article without subscribing, but let me know you can't.

You should charge what the market will bear.
Different markets for different types of writing can bear better prices than others. Do some research into other writing businesses such as yours. Determine by their pricing what your overall price should be. Set parameters: how long you've been in business, how much experience you have, how much competition, etc., then research using those before you commit to a price. You should be able to determine a fair price for your work, without being so extravagant over what the usual market price is for a writer of your skill level, that her eyes will pop out her head. If she's very budget conscious, and you're totally unsure, give her a per hour price, do some of the work, keeping track of your hours, send it to her, and say, "this is what I've done for x amount of dollars and x amount of time." Sorry to go on here, but I'm passionate about this, as most writers devalue themselves and don't get what they deserve. Hope this helps. If not, write to me, and I'll answer.

Just a thought.....

But it will be good if you can get at least $10 per hour for your work - even if you estimate the number of hours for a project and then bid accordingly. I could be wrong, but I don't think a business person would expect you to work for less - maybe more, but not less.

Sometimes you can scare people away by asking for too little. They may not respect you enough to give it to you. Hope you don't mind my 2 1/2 cents.

Congrats on the opportunity, and we will be pulling for you.

Tooelewritergal has recently built a website that offers similar services. You might check with her and see what she does. Begin by establishing a concrete business plan with the woman. Does she want ads? Articles? Re-vamping of her site? Maybe when you know exactly what you're going to be doing, you can more easily decide on charges.
