Yes, I can relate Lonebutte. I have to pinch myself often for reminders I'm not trapped in some kind of X File-ish nightmare. Then I do feel hopelessly overwhelmed by the madness at times - Time to Blog It Out, lol...Btw, I've decided in addition to contacting my Congress people, it wouldn't hurt to also take my concerns straight to the top. I am composing a letter to e mail to the White House; never thought I'd be able to do this. (Gotta remain civil, polite, etc.) I'm thinking perhaps if many people did this, maybe, just maybe somebody in those Halls of Smoke 'N Mirrors might take notice...I'm probably dreaming...

I missed that program this week, and gee, I could have been worrying about yet another potential disaster since then. Isn't it ironic that the government makes such a big deal out of finding WMD's in places like Iraq, spends gazillions of dollars on practically wiping out the country and killing thousands of people, and comes up empty--when all it has to do is look in its own backyard. Makes you want to swallow some chemicals and end it all.
