Thanks Jay9--

I feel like I know what I WANT to do....but I hope it matches up with what I am "going" to do!

It definitely sounds to me like you know what you are going to do.

I would take you up on that in a heartbeat

Thanks Quirky--
Good advice! I think you and Ca88andra are both right... but I think you are a bit more right, because of the "you already know" comment... I think I really am hesitant to cash-out on that much of my life in excess time and energy expended for such low pay... hey, if they were offering enough so that I could get an apartment out there, that might be different~! (well, except for the darn gas ) hehe... thanks!

Ca88andra--

Thanks for your advice-- I think I like that advice allllll toooooo muuuch!!!!

But I DO think it could be just what I need! I am a firm believer that things fall into place when the time is right, so hopefully I will know what to do. Thanks again!

Good Advice, Kay-Ren!
I am not sure yet if I will be taking the job... much thought will go into that, but don't you worry, I'll keep the pickles coming!!!

Passion--

Hey--thanks for the advice! I think that is great... I do have a wise mom, opinionated dad and a boyfriend who has also just plunged into the real-world... Is that enough of an eclectic mix to help me make the best decision? ...hehehe...

Ahh, yea I think it is one of the toughest decisions I have faced, but the driving distance alone is what I think deters me... had this job been only steps from my house, you bet I'd jump on it!

Guess I will see what happens... Good Luck with yours!

Dances
good for you girl, hey, I could come be your chauffeur, you could edit my book, and that's all she wrote.

Listen to your intuition, if they offer you the job you
will know what to do. But it sounds to me like you, in many ways, don't really want it. That is an awful lot of time spent driving each week. Good luck!

Maybe you should just sit back and enjoy the ride, whichever direction the road takes you. If you are offered the job, you will know what to say! Good luck whatever happens.

I want your pickles! Good luck. Sorry I don't have any advice, except, always fill up your gas tank before driving out there.

Congrats Dances! Free-lancing for 6 newspapers is great. The job would look good on your resume, wouldn't it? I've had the same delimma as you. Think I blogged about it. I can actually make enough doing housing inspections for FEMA and only work a few months a year. That's what I need, so that I'll have plenty of time for writing. But I won't have medical ins. Anything major happens to me and I'm SOL.

It's a troubling delimma that I've almost got figured out. Have you got any smart friends or family to advise you? Only you know how much time your free-lancing jobs will take. Sit down and write out some estimates and be honest about it.
