Offense?

My reading of Jackson's strategy is different.  His adjustment was on defense -- he knows that the offense is there.  The shot that Kobe made in the last seconds of the fourth was nothing special:  the play was oh soooo ordinary (remember the time Kobe made a shot in the last point-something seconds in another game?  THAT was special!).  The major adjustment was on Billups (which I like to see more of -- hmmm, how about adding Bryon Russel to the roster of those who'd guard Chauncey).

Anyway the Lakers is an offensive team who are at times lazy on the defense.  And that is why the Pistons have the Top in blocks, steals and rebounds in the regular season.

careful what you say

being a somewhat offense minded guy myself, I gotta agree.  But don't forget about the Mavericks.  They have nothing but scorers.  Why don't they get to the dance?  Because they got no real stopper.  I think you need balance.  If you were right on the offence winning championships, Dallas would've won the last 3.  You gotta play both ends of the floor.  And that's why I got money riding on the Lakers (even though I hate them.  They'll still get me my money).
