Margins
Although this was covered in an email response, the answer is being posted here in case anyone else needs it in the future.
The cause of the wide margins was a single line consisting of a sequence of emoticons, since the web browser attempted to display all of the emoticons on one line. Splitting the sequence into multiple lines, by typing Return at appropriate locations, should resolve this kind of problem.
