Thank you, Passionista, for your lovely compliments,
and also for being such a kind person to those feral kitties. I have one cat who was left by the previous tenant where I live now. I just couldn't tell him that he didn't live there, because he already did.

What a wonderful story!!

Like you, I am a sucker for forlorn creatures. I have three dogs and two official kitties, all adopted. I will also bring two semi-feral cats that I've been feeding for months with me to my new house. They are probably not going to be indoor cats for a while, but I cannot leave them here without a food source.

Adopted animals give so much love and try so hard to be good -- even when they're horrid, little devils. I'm so glad they found you!

Talion, sweet story, glad you are out of the closet at last!
And I sure hope someone took that mother cat in to get fixed!!! BTW, I also had a very special cat named Gypsy, she lived to be 17 until she got breast cancer.

A little over a year ago, a stray cat started around the gazebo which serves as the smoking area at work. It was once someone's pet because she wasn't afraid of people. Everybody was bringing food and blankets and such until she became the company's cat. It wasn't long before she wound up pregnant. I already knew I was going to bring one of the kittens home and my wife did too when I told her. I was even fortunate enough to witness her giving birth. As soon as she was weened, straight home I brought her. Gypsy is the fourth of our cat collection. My wife was supposed to be the cat person, but she only brought home one. I managed to bring home the other three. I guess I was just in the closet.
