I alsway cry when I hear poem about mums
I lost mine and this kind of poem is a constant reminded of what I have lost in my life
God I cant type for crying as all my emotions have gone off in one hit.
Truely there is no better love than a mothers love.
Cheers VIVA

What a lovely tribute...
She sounds like a beautiful person and mother. Sad yet uplifting.

Thank you tb and bridget - it is sad, but she had a full and happy life, not sure if that compensates...

Warm, compassionate and incredibly poignant. The change from energetic, articulate teacher to frail, uncommunicative shell is such a tragedy. My mom has undergone the same think, having suffered strokes that robbed her of vitality and wit. It's not easy, for sure! I wsih you, and your mother, every blessing. ~ faranya

Your mother sounds so lovely. I wonder what will happen to my mother when she gets to be that age...
