alt, I have been following this story for years and it never ceases. I am
experiencing true despair over it. We have a few of the Lost Boys here in our city and they have taught us much. Africa is killing itself with terror and disease and economic failure under greedy and selfish and frighteningly cemented in leadership and no one outside of Africa appears to care.
An African friend told me that she really believes that the West wants an 'empty' Africa, which can be exploited then for all of its natural resources without the problems that a living population would bring. The U.S., once again, and again and again, makes tyrannical, selfish and thoughtless moves which belie our democratic beliefs. I despair.
