It's about Melchizedek
a most mysterious figure, unless Jewish tradition can shed light on him -- I don't know -- I guess some delving would be appropriate here.
This is the only instance in the Old Testament where Mel is mentioned.
And if he was King in Jerusalem, then something happened -- he wasn't at a later time.
Salem, of course means peace -- so do we find he's "King of Peace"; then we get the Emmanuel connection on through Yeshua.
This small passage is wrought with questions.
