I know who you're talkng about -- I read a smattering of that -- just a few words and I quit reading. I read less of that person now even though a lot of what that person writes is pretty good.

westwend-I know that's true of you
My remarks were directed toward someone else. I don't mind anyone questioning the tenets of my faith or disagreeing. I don't like crazy conspiracy stuff that has no basis in fact that trys to mask itself as honest, intelligent debate.

i gotta comment
I've experienced all kinds of believers
I've worked closely with Catholic Priests and nuns, etc.
I've heard from people who say they've seen miracles.
I honor a person's beliefs very much.
When you read things I write about the Church, I am criticising what I perceive to be activities and events that are counterproductive to people's well being.
I am not criticizing belief.
there are many beliefs exhibited here and we all can learn from every one of them.

You're a thinker.

It's nice to read the writing of thinking people.  I appreciate that quality so much.  You are definitely in the "thinking people" category.  Keep it up, and thanks for the nice words about my posts.

hello and thank you for this post.

I find it very easy to see that all is not what it appears to be.  This ubiquitous ambiguity is no doubt a big part of my neurosis;  having said that, thank you for this added perspective again.  I find your writing style engrossing in that I have to apply my thinking cap, you know work a little.

This is one of the greatest ways to learn.  Challange  in many a regard is my favorite.

How right you are
See the comments section here that shows ultimate liberal idiocy of Lonebutte... Funny, but not confused

Then check out this article about a muslime killing a Christian while in his hospital bed. Where's the outrage? Christian beaten to death by Muslim!

Thanks for this post.

Just a reminder to everyone:  Thousands of Jesuits were martyred here in the western hemisphere (Upstate NY, Central & South America) by European dictators, followed by the murder of thousands of natives that lived peacefully with the Jesuits who taught them Christianity.
