honesty
uprightness
fairness to all religions and people
not to support oppressive regimes or murder and assassination
making peace among warring nations -- attempting to stave off war
using diplomacy more and carpet bombing less
being a whole lot less selfish in dealing with the rest of the world
not favoring the rich and powerful over the common person
being real

The self rightous liberal thinking !
after reading some of the commentary on the religious right, the Iraq quagmire, the ten commandments in the public square, about how corrupt our country is on every issue you care to talk about, it truly sickens me!
It's our fault that we suffered the 9/11 attack.....it's our fault what happened in central america during the 70's and beyond. Those of you who complain about this country and actually despise this country and under the guise of free speech you denigrate this country don't know what you're talking about. Many of you would like nothing better than to see our constitution subservient to the so called Internationa Tribunal, subject our laws to thaeir review, ouir military subject to that court and on, and on, and on. You are living good lives because of the system of government and the facilitation of capital and raw material and resources. We may not be perfect according to your lights but we are and continue to be a work in progress making nhecessary adjustments from time to time. This nation has accomodated divergent views and philosofies and allowed people to bitch, even threaten our way of life.....remembere the 60's and 70's with anarchists running around trying their best to bring our form of government down? Remember the Black Panthers? and many others who today occupy chairs in our universities and are filling the heads of our students with mush and ideas that are not "what makes America great"....Look people, examine your collective conscience and think well about your country. One3 last thing....Michael Moore...is a what????? are you kidding? a propogandist and a liar! Are you guys Blind????? God help our country with Americans thinking and writing soime of the drivel I have read today.

we will survive
The irony about all this is that there are actually more liberals than conservatives in this country. It's just that conservatives are much more anal and do a lot more bitching and whining. Liberals like to enjoy life, not stalk through it thin-lipped and enraged. So now, because we haven't been paying enough attention, we have this messy little problem called the Bushies. But we'll get over this one, just like we survived Reagan and Nixon, and restore the republic we lost in 2000.
